Hahahaha. Well done. Got your e-mail — I promise I'll reply this week. Surprisingly inundated today. BTW I'm not sure I could handle the power of the Jeep — especially if it's the V8. Wouldn't want to roast a good ol Chrysler transmission :)

Welcome to 1990's Chrysler. To be fair that is only slow stop and go city driving. When I'm on the highway I can get almost 20. And normal city driving gets me about 13.

Surprisingly, the ones in the Grand Cherokees are pretty solid. I think it came from the Daimler partnership, so while it may be slow and clunky, it is certainly tough-ish.

Mine was good until about 87k, then it just needed a tranny flush.. and then it was good again until 190k, at which time a 4 wheel burnout (in some unholy and confusing manner) stripped reverse, 4th, and overdrive out of it. Still worked just fine in 1st 2nd and 3rd though.. And my old Grand got better mileage and was much torqueier than my '06 Outback XT. Go figure. You wanna talk 11 mpg daily drivers? 250 hp should not cost this much.
